For Jenny Sommerlot, real estate has never been about simply closing a transaction. It’s about understanding what a move means for the people making it—and doing everything possible to help them make it well.
A top-producing Minnesota real estate professional with Keller Williams Realty, Jenny closed more than $22 million in sales across 60+ homes in 2025 alone. She serves buyers and sellers throughout Central and East Central Minnesota, the northwest Twin Cities suburbs, and Minnesota’s lake country, combining market knowledge, strategic marketing, strong negotiation, and highly personal service.
Jenny’s experience goes well beyond traditional residential real estate. She understands the nuances of Minnesota’s rural market, including farms, acreage, recreational land, waterfront properties, outbuildings, wells and septic systems, and the additional considerations that come with properties that don’t fit neatly into a box.
She also represents builders in the marketing and sale of new construction and spec homes and works with buyers navigating the building and new-construction process. As a real estate investor herself, Jenny brings another perspective to the table—looking beyond finishes and first impressions to consider value, potential, resale, improvements, and the long-term financial picture.

Outside of real estate, Jenny is a mom of three boys, and her favorite place to be is on the sidelines watching them play the sports they love. She has also spent 18 years as an assistant varsity softball coach—a role that reflects her long-standing commitment to serving her community and investing in the people around her.
